Spent a lot of time fooling with Delorme this AM. It DOES take a fair bit of getting used to and is more than a little quirky. The documentation is also a bit dodgy and very imcomplete.
The GPS itself seems a bit buggy as well. I've had a couple of lock ups and the compass becomes non-functional from time to time.
Another complaint is that the road maps are not always correct. It appears that the maps are based on town maps, not actual roads as is the case with Google. The net is that the unit shows roads that are just not there.
All in all, however, I'm generally satisified given what I paid.
