BB and I had our usual quiet Sunday mourning, read the paper, late breakfast, etc. Around noon we decided to go out geocaching. We went back to Stow to visit Gas Saver V and 2009 Boston Red Sox Roster Series - Mike Lowell. Unfortunately I forgot to load Gas Saver on my GPS. No matter, worst that can happen is that we have a nice walk on a bright somewhat cold day.
We got to the parking area without incident. Parking was plowed with plenty of space for 6 or 8 cars. So we took a quick look at the trail map and started out. As we walked down the trail we saw some tracks going off to the right. We followed those hoping that they might lead to the micro Gas Saver. Sure enough we lucked out and found the cache. I signed the log and we went back to the trail to find Boston Red Sox. The trails were good with plenty of trafic and no really serious hills so walking in was easy. We followed one path in and a shorter but somewhat steaper path out. We got to within about 30 feet of the cache when we saw some footprints going off toward GZ. About 30' or so away from my GPS GZ the trackes stoped. A bit of quick checking revealed the cache. I loged it and returned it to the hide then BB and I walked back to the car via a different route.
